A highlight of APT conferences is when we recognize and celebrate with industry professionals who have contributed to APT and the preservation industry. You are invited to this celebration where we also have the honor of recognizing future preservationists and APT members—the Student Scholars.

Recognitions
COF Installation
The APT College of Fellows honors those APT members who have provided valuable services to the preservation field and to APT. Each year at the APT Annual Conference the College of Fellows inducts up to six new members at the Awards Banquet. (The College of Fellows Jury is accepting nominations until July 1, 2010. Forms are available at www.apti.org.)

Awards Presentations APT will recognize this year’s winners of the Publications Awards and present the Martin Weaver Award, the Oliver Fuller Torrey Award, and the Anne de Fort Menares Award. President Anne Sullivan will give her Presidential Citations and present the Harley J. McKee Award, APT’s highest honor.

Student Scholars The APT Student Scholarships Committee will introduce this year’s student scholars.

APT Live Auction The 5th Annual APT Live Auction will be an exciting part of the evening. Funds raised at the auctions help fund the Student Scholarships, which allow deserving students to attend the Conference each year and present their winning abstracts. The Live Auction has been extremely successful—and fun!—in the past. Watch for featured items as they are posted on the Conference web so you can plan for what you might take home as a successful bidder!

The Venue—Tivoli Student Union
The Tivoli is a Denver landmark with history as interesting as its architecture. The first of its 12 buildings was constructed in 1866 as a brewery. The Tivoli was named after the world-famous Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, Denmark. It changed hands many times before brewing its last beer in 1966. In 1994, the newly renovated Tivoli opened as one of the premier student unions in the country. Its role as a student union represents the recent history, but there is much more to the Tivoli story, which you can trace online. The Turnhalle Ballroom was built in 1882 for use as a German opera house. Its historic décor is charmingly rustic.
